McCartney Cemetery is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the meticulous preservation of our local heritage. Every stone tells a story; we ensure those stories remain legible for generations to come.
Support the MissionThe McCartney Cemetery serves as the final resting place for the pioneers and families of Rogersville. As a nonprofit preservation society, we manage the intricate balance between nature and history.
Our work includes the professional restoration of leaning monuments, the removal of invasive biological growth from historical markers, and the maintenance of our century-old perimeter fencing.
We view our grounds as a living history museum. Through our 501(c)(3) status, we provide community educational tours and genealogical assistance, ensuring that the names etched in stone are linked to the families living here today.
Your support allows us to maintain a standard of excellence that honors the dignity of those interred here while providing a peaceful sanctuary for their descendants.
